Roberto Giovanetti is a passionate Marketer and Innovator, with more than 20 years of experience in Top Blue Chip FMCGs and with work experience in Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific Regions. Roberto has mastered the art of obtaining Actionable Consumer Insights, Assessing Market Opportunities and Innovations Development and deploy them with speed and scale.

At British American Tobacco (BAT), Roberto served as Category Director for Freshness and Stimulation in Asia Pacific Region and as Head of Innovation Center in London, UK. He has experience working in Supply Chain, Sales, Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, Strategic Planning and Consumer Insights & Innovations. He is passionate about his work and believes the only way to make things happen is by inspiring people, working hard with them side by side and taking special care of details.

Throughout his career, Roberto has established a reputation as a transformational leader who is driven by challenge, undeterred by obstacles, and committed to furthering standards of efficiency, excellence, and client satisfaction. His expertise encompasses all aspects of sales, product innovation, and implementing effective business strategies; from controlling costs and maximizing revenues to harnessing team strengths to improve company wide performance. Further, his ability to build consensus among executive teams and stakeholders to promote transparency and influence positive change has been repeatedly proven.

He has a track record of creating financial and cash flow turnaround through utilizing effective leadership skills and implementing high-impact sales growth strategies based on data, experience, and business acumen.

Roberto graduated as Mechanical Engineer from Simon Bolivar University in Caracas, Venezuela and holds a Marketing MBA from IESA.

Roberto’s job has taken him to live in many different places around the world including America, Europe and Asia. He enjoys traveling, sharing and living among different cultures as well as speaking different languages. He spends his weekends with his family and playing sports with his sons.
