Raihan Rahman is a highly experienced corporate executive and an entrepreneur with proven track record of turnaround performances. He has over 20 years’ experience in corporate and brand portfolio strategy, sales, distribution and product design & development across Asia Pacific region.

Since 2015 Raihan has been an investor and entrepreneur in numerous business sectors in different parts of the world. He is on the Board of several companies where he makes active contribution in their business strategies.

In his corporate career Mr. Rahman’s last role was as Head of Brands for Asia Pacific Region at British American Tobacco. In that role he oversaw governance of several global and regional brands such as Pall Mall, Lucky Strike, Winfield and Rothmans. He was a member of BAT’s Asia Pacific Marketing Leadership Team and of Steering Groups for some global brands enabling direct input into global brand strategies.

Prior to the regional role Mr. Rahman was the Marketing Director for BAT Bangladesh (annual turnover $2bln) during which period he developed and led a young and energetic team of 130 marketing managers to achieve market leadership in 2012 through deployment of a strategic brand portfolio on an uneven playing field.

In his previous role as the Head of Trade Marketing and Distribution Mr. Rahman redefined BAT Bangladesh’s distribution strategy which included restructuring supply chain model, distribution footprint, trading terms, credit risk, customer pricing guidelines and extensive review of end-to-end supply chain cost to reinvest savings in areas of higher return. 

Under his leadership BAT Bangladesh achieved consecutive years of record-breaking business performances aided by successful entry into a new consumer segment fiercely protected by competitors.

Raihan completed graduation at the University of South Dakota in USA specializing in Business Administration and English Literature.

Raihan is a nature and wildlife enthusiast. He finds time to travel around various parts of Africa photographing nature, wildlife and hiking up mountains. He also enjoys art, music, films, books and cooking with his family.
