Marc Riera brings over 15 years of design, marketing and retail experience to the Zeal Technology team. He has spent numerous years in both the corporate environment and the consulting world building brands, connecting consumers and products, and leading world-class teams.  

Currently, Marc partners with a select roster of brands on a variety of bespoke projects across the globe. With a passion for design and technology, most recently he has helped guide several start-ups from conception through marketplace launch. In addition, he has helped Fortune500 brands strategize and execute marketplace positioning and initiatives.

Previously, Marc worked in-house for a multi-national marketing agency where his scope included special initiatives combining all design and innovation aspects of the company. With a focus on luxury, high-tech and premium outdoor brands, the agency’s work delivered everything from creative direction through experiential marketing, with clients including Uniqlo, BMW, Google and Arcteryx.

Prior to working on the agency side, Marc held various positions at Nike and Jordan Brand including Global Design Director. While being based at the world headquarters in Oregon, he worked with multi-functional teams bringing Nike’s brand experience to life for the consumer. Marc worked closely on developing and implementing initiates such as Marketplace Transformation in N. America, retail experiences for Olympics, and Jordan Brand global experiences

Marc’s educational background spans two separate degrees: Environmental Analysis and Policy and a Masters of Architecture. The diversity in his education has provided a multifaceted foundation for his professional career that allows for ‘design-thinking’ coupled with research and analytical capabilities.

As an avid cyclist he can be found touring the wonderful roads of Europe. Off the bike he enjoys time with family, learning about art and playing soccer with his young son.
